Who We Are
The West Town Chicago Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization with over 200 small business members. The Chamber’s mission is to strengthen its business community so that West Town Chicago continues to be a destination for shopping, dining, professional services, nightlife and culture.
Special Service Area
The Special Service Area (SSA) is an economic development tool, created by state statute and city ordinance, which allows extra real estate property taxes to be collected to fund added services for a defined area. It is the only taxing body in which property owners choose to be assessed and have direct decision-making authority on the use of those funds. The West Town Chamber of Commerce is the service provider for the West Town SSA.

Chamber Calendar
The West Town Chicago Chamber of Commerce fosters community and economic development by empowering businesses with information, networking opportunities, marketing, and other programming. The Chamber Calendar features upcoming chamber meetings, member events, and local happenings.

The West Town Chicago Chamber of Commerce is a small business development center providing programs and services for businesses located within the chamber service area: from Division Street to Hubbard, and Halsted Street to Kedzie Avenue. Businesses within the service area and beyond are encouraged to join the chamber to take advantage of the many member benefits.
West Town Master Plan
The West Town Five-Year Master Plan seeks to further the Chamber's on-going objectives: "To foster community and economic development by empowering businesses with information, networking opportunities, marketing, and other programs."
The Master Plan seeks to encourage continued community growth while preserving the people, places, and institutions that make West Town one of Chicago's great destinations.
